About us
About Spine Nexus Group
Spine Nexus Group is a spine-focused clinical letter writing practice dedicated to the preparation of medically defensible nexus letters for spinal conditions related to VA disability claims. The practice functions as an independent clinical evidence provider and operates with a deliberately limited scope and volume to preserve medical integrity.
All nexus letters are authored personally, by healthcare providers, from start to finish following comprehensive medical record review and independent clinical analysis. Medical reasoning is not outsourced, templated, or delegated. Spine Nexus Group does not operate as a high-volume nexus letter service and does not guarantee outcomes.
Scope, Standards, and Ethics
The scope of practice is limited exclusively to spinal conditions, including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and lumbosacral disorders. All cases undergo an initial screening to determine whether a nexus opinion can be medically supported. Cases that cannot be defended medically are declined.
Spine Nexus Group prioritizes medical rigor, ethical standards, and defensible clinical reasoning over speed or volume. Medical opinions are independent and are not influenced by desired claim outcomes. The practice accepts a limited number of cases to ensure each opinion reflects careful medical analysis and professional judgment.
Empowering Veterans with Thorough and Complete Letters
At Spine Nexus Group, nexus letters are authored by independently licensed chiropractic physicians (Doctor of Chiropractic), recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a qualified healthcare provider for spine and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Opinions are provided within scope of practice.
Per the VA, "VA doctors of chiropractic (DCs) provide diagnosis and management of non-operative neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. This most commonly includes problems in the low back, neck, and other joints" - US Department of Veteran Affair's Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Services Division.
Spine Nexus Group exists to provide clarity, not assurances, through disciplined medical analysis.
